Arrives Ready to hang

Not Quite Herself is a moment of becoming — the quiet chaos that unfolds when a woman stops apologising for who she is.

This contemporary abstract figure captures that edge: when she no longer edits herself to fit the room, and the room doesn’t quite know what to do with her.

The gaze, the posture, the unapologetic presence — they all speak to the beautiful disruption of self-reclamation. She’s not who they thought. She’s not who she was. She’s more. And that unsettles things — exactly as it should.

All artworks are printed using premium archival-grade pigments on gallery quality fine art paper and canvas.

The materials and process ensure the paper and canvas prints retain their colour and vibrancy for 100+ years.

All artwork is produced by Amanda Heath, in Cornwall.

Prints are signed by the artist.

Each print is available in square, vertical or horizontal orientation to ensure a perfect fit for your space.

Bespoke framing as standard: All canvas artwork arrives framed and ready to hang

FINE ART CANVAS PRINTS:

Your chosen artwork comes professionally framed in a stunning float frame, as standard.

It is stretched over a wooden frame, then professionally finished and framed in your choice of white, oak effect or black.   I love my artwork in white or natural wood frames, but please choose the colour that best suits your taste and aesthetic.

The beauty is that your artwork will arrive at your door ready to hang on the wall, with pre-installed hardware and rubber bumpers to protect your wall and keep the artwork aligned.

Our floater frames are crafted from poplar hardwood, giving your canvas the appearance of floating within the frame.

The slim profile, elegant frame is 1 cm (0.4”) wide from the front and 4 cm (1.6”) deep from the side. The artwork itself is reproduced onto gallery quality matte canvas.

All artwork is lovingly made to order and ships worldwide.

Your artwork will be meticulously produced and shipped from my nearest fine art printing facility to ensure faster delivery and safer transit. It also helps avoid any customs fees.

From the time you place your order to the moment it arrives, delivery typically takes 7–10 business days.

About the artist...

Artist Info

“My work is about freedom, expression and emotion.

I create abstract work designed to bring a sense of energy into a space — through movement, colour and layered texture that softens a room, creating a feeling of calm, openness and space to breathe.

Influenced by my background as a professional dancer, freedom and flow sit at the heart of everything I create. Each piece is instinctive and expressive, designed not just to be seen, but felt.”

Amanda’s work is held in private collections worldwide, licensed by two UK agencies, and available through leading UK retailers, including John Lewis. She was shortlisted to the final two artists to represent Peugeot at the 'Powered by Nature' exhibition at The Saatchi Gallery in London on the Kings Road.

Frequently Asked Questions

The main difference between canvas and paper prints is that canvas prints offer a contemporary, ready-to-hang, glass-free finish, while paper prints provide a more traditional fine art print aesthetic displayed behind glass or perspex.

Both canvas and paper prints are created with premium materials for a gallery quality finish, with inks designed to maintain their vibrancy for decades.

Select a framed canvas if you would like:

• A ready-to-hang, professionally framed artwork that closely resembles the original, with the artists signature bottom right
• A glass-free display with pure, reflection-free colour
• A good option if you are looking for larger sizes as framed canvases are easier and safer to hang

Select Paper if you’d prefer:

• Your artwork to include a white border all around containing the artists signature
• A glass or perspex sheet protecting the art

• A more traditional art print aesthetic

The best artwork size depends on the wall space and furniture beneath it. As a general rule, artwork should be approximately two-thirds the width of the sofa, sideboard or bed below it.

If it’s the only piece on a large wall then you can go as big as you like, but I’d recommend filling the overall space by no more than half or two thirds.

For tall, thin spaces vertical artworks work best.  For wider spaces or lower ceilings, consider horizontal artworks or a set of two square, side by side.   If you are choosing for a hallway, a series of smaller pieces in a row works beautifully.

Square artwork is the most versatile shape and is often the easiest choice when you're unsure. It works beautifully above sofas, sideboards, beds and in smaller spaces, making it one of the most flexible formats for a wide range of interiors.

If the space is tall or narrow, vertical artworks work best. For wider spaces or lower ceilings, consider horizontal artworks or a pair of square artworks hung side by side. If you're choosing artwork for a hallway, a series of smaller pieces displayed in a row can work beautifully.

Amanda Heath fine art prints are produced using archival giclée printing techniques and premium fade-resistant inks designed to maintain their vibrancy for decades - even in direct sunlight.

Original artworks are varnished with a UV resistant premium finish to protect your investment and ensure it retains full vibrancy.

All framed Amanda Heath artworks arrive ready to hang with the appropriate hardware already installed.

Framed canvas prints feature float frames crafted from solid oak or hardwood, giving the canvas the appearance of floating within the frame. A small gap of approximately 7mm creates this elegant gallery-style finish.

Your artwork arrives ready to hang with pre-installed sawtooth hardware and rubber bumpers to protect your wall and keep the artwork perfectly aligned.

Paper prints are finished with handcrafted Italian solid wood frames, complete with hanging hardware on the reverse. If you choose an unframed paper print, you're free to select a frame style that best suits your home and personal aesthetic.

Original artworks arrive framed with hanging wire fixed to the back of the signed artwork.
