About the painting:
This lively acrylic painting on canvas frame is another music-inspired piece. Syncopation in music is unexpected rhythms and beats, this is recreated in paint with bright, contrasting colours and shapes ultimately coming together in a coherent piece.
From a young age as a dancer, I’ve always been fascinated in rhythm, music, beats and energy and want to bring this through to my paintings. For me this is another happy, feel-good piece. Inspired by Jazz, it encapsulates those little things that crop up and catch you by surprise, always with the intent of making life that little more interesting.

My canvas paintings are finished with two layers of archival matt varnish to protect them from the sunlight and colour distortion.
*Please note that colour variation may differ from monitor to monitor. Slight colour variations may occur. I do take extra care to make sure the colours are as true to life as possible when photographing my art.
