About the painting:
Sometimes in life we come across little synchronicities or coincidences. They are not always obvious and will often pass us by. Whether we are religious or not, it’s difficult to imagine that there isn’t a higher source at work, protecting us from harm and guiding us towards a better future.
This painting is about placing our trust and faith into a higher source, in order to protect us and guide us towards a better future. The incredible rhythms of life, with it’s ups and downs, surprises and disappointments all weave together to make something that is ultimately precious and beautiful. It’s about paying attention to those little synchronicities or coincidences instead of dismissing them. I believe they are little ‘hints’ from the Universe. This painting is hugely personal to me and definitely one of my favourites.

My paintings are finished with two layers of archival matt varnish to protect them from the sunlight and colour distortion.
